Ευρωπαϊκή διάκριση για την Ελληνική Καρδιολογική Εταιρεία – Άμεση Ενημέρωση

Το πρώτο βραβείο για την καλύτερη -συνολικά- καμπάνια ενημέρωσης απέσπασε από τη Heart Failure Association της Ευρωπαϊκής Καρδιολογικής Εταιρείας, η Ελληνική Καρδιολογική Εταιρεία και η Ελλάδα, με αφορμή τις Ημέρες Ευαισθητοποίησης για την Καρδιακή Ανεπάρκεια (1-7 Μαΐου 2023).

Η καμπάνια έλαβε χώρα στην Ελλάδα σε 11 πόλεις, με Περίπτερα Ενημέρωσης πολιτών, εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο για ιατρούς και φροντιστές ασθενών, ενημέρωση ασθενών από το προσωπικό των Καρδιολογικών Κλινικών των Νοσοκομείων, ομιλίες και προληπτικές εξετάσεις σε πολίτες, ενώ διανεμήθηκε πολυσέλιδο ενημερωτικό φυλλάδιο στο κοινό. Ταυτόχρονα κεντρικά και περιφερειακά ΜΜΕ ανάδειξαν πολλαπλώς την εκστρατεία της ΕΚΕ και της Ομάδας Εργασίας Καρδιακής Ανεπάρκειας.

Οι Ημέρες Ευαισθητοποίησης για την Καρδιακή Ανεπάρκεια είναι, από το 2010, μία από τις πιο σημαντικές ημερομηνίες σε ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο για την Καρδιακή Ανεπάρκεια και την προσπάθεια ενημέρωσης των πολιτών σε όλο τον κόσμο.

Ο Πρόεδρος της ΕΚΕ, Καθηγητής Καρδιολογίας και Πρόεδρος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης κ. Γιώργος Κοχιαδάκης δήλωσε με αφορμή τη διάκριση της Ελληνικής Καρδιολογικής Εταιρείας:

«Η Καρδιακή Ανεπάρκεια είναι μια εξαιρετικά σοβαρή και σύνθετη πάθηση που αφορά σημαντικό ποσοστό ασθενών στη χώρα μας.

Ο αριθμός των ασθενών πιθανότατα θα αυξηθεί τα επόμενα χρόνια λόγω της γήρανσης του πληθυσμού και της βελτίωσης της διάγνωσής της. Με τις πολύπλευρες κοινωνικές δράσεις που αναλαμβάνουμε, επιδιώκουμε να ενημερώσουμε τους Καρδιαγγειακούς ασθενείς και ευρύτερα τους πολίτες για τα συμπτώματα και τις επιπτώσεις που έχει για την ανθρώπινη υγεία αυτή η σοβαρή ασθένεια.

Φέτος δόθηκε μεγαλύτερη έκταση στην προσπάθεια της ΕΚΕ, με κύριο στόχο το μήνυμά μας για πρόληψη και θεραπεία να φτάσει σε όσο το δυνατόν μεγαλύτερο κοινό, σε όλη τη χώρα.

Να εκφράσω τα συγχαρητήριά μου στην Ομάδα Εργασίας Καρδιακής Ανεπάρκειας για την οργάνωση και υποστήριξη της εξαιρετικής αυτής προσπάθειας και ειδικά στην Αντιπρόεδρο κα Αλεξία Σταυράτη και τον πυρήνα της ομάδας».
